Job Title: Human Resources Supervisor

Location: Fontana, CA (onsite)

Pay: $66,500 - $70,000

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Supervisor to join our team at Accurate Personnel LLC. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic support to our management team, ensuring efficient operations, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on human resources issues to management.
  • Assist in managing employee and temporary staffing, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the performance management process, ensuring adherence to policies and timeliness.
  • Facilitate effective communication across all employee levels, promoting a culture of transparency and respect.
  • Collaborate with temporary agencies to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in payroll processing and employee benefits as a backup, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handle employee complaints and EEOC charges, providing support and guidance to employees.
  • Implement and uphold company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence.
  • Monitor the work environment, reporting potential issues to management and implementing solutions.
  • Manage unemployment claims processing and represent the company at hearings, ensuring compliance and adherence.
  • Support safety programs and Workman's Compensation Programs, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Answer employee queries regarding benefits and assist during open enrollment, ensuring clarity and understanding.
  • Monitor compliance related to new hires and pay ranges, ensuring accuracy and adherence.
  • Supervise daily HR department activities, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate I-9 forms for all employees, ensuring compliance and adherence.
  • Keep up-to-date Distribution Center organization charts, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Maintain records for personnel transactions and manage data reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Stay informed on employment law updates, ensuring compliance and adherence.
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze outcomes, and suggest improvements, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Oversee training initiatives and potentially conduct training sessions, promoting employee development and growth.
  • Provide new employee orientation, ensuring a smooth transition and onboarding process.
  • Offer guidance on personnel matters and resolve employee issues promptly, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as required, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration with a concentration in HR, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 3 years of HR generalist and supervisory experience, including recruitment, benefits, payroll, employee relations, and safety, preferably in a warehouse or production setting.
  • Strong communication, writing, and software skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Understanding of Distribution Center operations.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse workforce.
  • Capacity for teamwork and meeting tight deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to climb stairs as needed.

Work Environment:

  • This role is based in a Distribution Center, which may involve varying temperatures and conditions.
