Job Title: Superintendent Wastewater OperationsJob Summary:

Veolia North America is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent Wastewater Operations to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and direct the operations of wastewater treatment plants, including the management of staff, equipment, and resources.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports to ensure effective financial management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in wastewater treatment operations, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, biosolids handling, and air emissions systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Valid Massachusetts Grade 7 Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator certification.
