We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at OLV Human Services. As a key member of our dental office, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our dental professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Front Desk Operations: Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including verifying insurance information and scheduling appointments.
- Insurance Verifications: Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits, and update our system accordingly.
- Predeterminations: Prepare and submit predetermination requests to insurance providers, and follow up on approvals or denials.
- Billing Review: Review and post payments and denials, and monitor denial reports to identify root causes and take corrective action.
- Documentation Review: Maintain accurate and timely review of clinical documentation against posted charges, and engage with dental professionals to mitigate documentation and coding errors.
- Booking Appointments: Schedule patient appointments, including tests, procedures, and referrals, and communicate with patients regarding appointments and instructions.
- Education: High School Diploma (Associate's Degree preferred)
- Experience: 1-2 years of administrative experience, with dental office experience preferred
- Skills: Computer/database experience (Eaglesoft), customer service skills, multi-tasking skills, and knowledge of dental procedures
- Competitive Pay: $15.59 - $25.99 per hour
