Assistant Property Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Property Manager to join our team at Thomas Safran & Associates. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our residents, ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, and contributing to the overall success of our company.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with leasing and marketing efforts, including preparing marketing materials and coordinating with maintenance staff to ensure properties are presented in their best condition.
- Conduct resident file reviews and income certifications, ensuring compliance with program guidelines.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure work orders and projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Assist with certification paperwork and other administrative tasks to maintain a high level of occupancy.
- Ensure compliance with Occupancy and Fair Housing guidelines, maintaining accurate records and reporting as necessary.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience preferred.
- Customer service experience required; experience with Section 8 and/or Tax Credit affordable housing programs preferred but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience using Yardi or similar property management software a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
