Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team at Balise Auto. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer purchasing experience, ensuring that our customers receive all the information they need to make an informed decision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers in a prompt, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Gather customer contact and interest information from new customers and accurately enter it into our CRM system.
  • Maintain rapport with previous and potential customers by suggesting trade-ins, responding to inquiries, recommending sales campaigns and promotions, and following up on all leads from various sources.
  • Present information in a clear and professional manner, demonstrating knowledge of characteristics, capabilities, features, warranties, and services of our vehicles.
  • Continuously build knowledge of new and updated product information.
  • Offer and accompany customers on demonstration rides.
  • Schedule and maintain your own calendar for customer appointments and/or follow-ups.
  • Attend and actively participate in daily sales/training meetings to assist in reaching individual and department goals.
  • Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of our inventory on the display lots and showrooms.
  • Qualify buyers by understanding their requirements and interests.
  • Closes sales by overcoming objections, asking for sales, negotiating price, completing sales or purchase contracts, explaining provisions, explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing, collecting payment, and delivering vehicles if applicable.

Environmental and Physical Requirements
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk, and hear.
  • A current valid driver's license and insurability rating are required.
  • This position may require up to 5-10% travel.
