Compliance Manager for Labor Law and Regulations

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee our organization's adherence to labor laws and regulations across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs, policies, and practices to ensure the company operates within legal and ethical boundaries.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement HR compliance policies and procedures, including annual policy acknowledgment and employee handbook signoff.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, including state-specific leave laws, as well as labor laws in Canada and Mexico.
- Conduct regular audits to identify potential compliance risks and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and support to employees on compliance-related topics.
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues and complaints.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and regulations and communicate changes to the HR team and management.
- Oversee and manage the company's immigration program, ensuring compliance with all relevant immigration laws and regulations, including I-9 verification.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR compliance or a related role.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
