HR Specialist for Policy Development

The Human Resources Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring the organization's adherence to all relevant labor laws and regulations across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs, policies, and practices to ensure the company operates within legal and ethical boundaries.
This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The HR Compliance Manager will also oversee the company's immigration program, ensuring compliance with all relevant immigration laws and regulations, including I-9 verification.
We are seeking an experienced professional with a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and minimum 5 years of experience in HR compliance or a related role. In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations is essential.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR compliance policies and procedures.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits to identify potential compliance risks and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and support to employees on compliance-related topics.
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues and complaints.
