About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Compliance and Risk Manager to join our team at Motrex, LLC. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization adheres to all relevant labor laws and regulations across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Job: The HR Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs, policies, and practices to ensure the company operates within legal and ethical boundaries. This role involves:

  • Developing and implementing HR compliance policies and procedures;
  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations;
  • Conducting regular audits to identify potential compliance risks and implementing corrective actions;
  • Providing training and support to employees on compliance-related topics;
  • Investigating and resolving compliance issues and complaints;
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and regulations and communicating changes to the HR team and management;
  • Overseeing and managing the company's immigration program, ensuring compliance with all relevant immigration laws and regulations;
  • Preparing and submitting compliance reports to regulatory agencies;
  • Managing severance agreements and overseeing unemployment claims to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
  • Conducting due diligence on acquisitions to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations;
