Role Overview

The Senior Reliability Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the long-term performance of drug delivery and diagnostic devices in the animal health industry. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute reliability test plans for new and existing products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Analyze data and identify trends to inform design improvements and optimize product performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate reliability engineering into the product development lifecycle.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends, applying knowledge to drive business growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in test engineering, with a focus on reliability engineering in an electro-mechanical device development environment.
  • Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles, including statistical analysis and data interpretation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in reliability engineering tools, such as Weibull++, JMP, and Minitab.
  • Experience with project management tools, such as JIRA.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering.
  • Experience with CAD packages, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
  • Software development skills, with a focus on data acquisition and analysis.
  • ASQ CRE or other similar certification.
