Food Service Support Specialist

Reports to: Front of House Manager

Overview

At Imperial Ferndale, our Server Assistants play a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience by supporting Front of House team members and ensuring guests receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

As a Server Assistant, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing tables after use.
  • Resetting tables to meet company standards.
  • Assisting Front of House staff with pre-bussing and providing additional service to guests as required.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and appearance of public areas, including walking spaces and restrooms.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in a serving role is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A friendly and professional demeanor.

Dress Code

Employees are expected to adhere to the following dress code:

  • All black attire, without stripes, polka dots, or graphics.
  • Closed-toe shoes with backs (color not specified).
  • No tank tops or spaghetti straps.
  • Shorts, dresses, and skirts must be of appropriate length.
  • No leggings or yoga pants.
  • No sheer clothing.
  • Company shirts may be worn if available.
  • No rips or tears in clothing.
  • Accessories can be personalized (hats, scarves, etc.), but hats must be solid black.
  • Face masks are required; any color or pattern is acceptable.

Work Environment

This position operates in a standard restaurant setting with:

  • Moderate to loud noise levels.
  • Frequent exposure to varying temperatures and steam.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

  • Bend, squat, run, and react physically in a timely manner.
  • Lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Stand for extended periods.
