We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Operations Specialist to join our team at Tenet Florida Physician Services, L.L.C. This is a full-time position working days, with a 5am-1:30pm shift.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate daily food service operations to ensure timely and high-quality food service.
- Complete opening and closing procedures for assigned locations.
- Manage inventory, prepare requisitions for food supplies within approved budgetary guidelines, and receive deliverables.
- Provide input into policy development from a professional, technical, or procedural perspective.
- Monitor workflow and schedule staff accordingly.
- Assist in monitoring budget for single or multiple, closely-related functions, areas of services.
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Associates Degree (or equivalent) in a related area, such as food production, nutrition, etc. preferred.
- Two years experience in food service, preferably in a healthcare facility or public institution.
- Leadership skills, including demonstrated willingness to pursue leadership roles with increasing levels of accountability.
- Communication and interpersonal skills for routine contacts with internal and external customers/stakeholders.
- Technical knowledge of food and supply product specifications.
This position is located at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital, a comprehensive healthcare facility offering a range of services, including heart care, cancer treatment, and emergency medicine.
