Job Summary

DTG Enterprises Inc is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a Truck Driver in the recycling industry, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment and trucks to transport materials to and from recycling facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate heavy equipment such as trucks, trailers, and other machinery to transport materials to and from recycling facilities.
  • Pre- and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Communicate with dispatchers to receive and send information about routes, schedules, and other important details.
  • Log and Track Loads: Log and track loads in our system using provided tablets to ensure accurate records.
  • Keep Accurate Records: Keep accurate records of loads, including slips and other documentation.
  • Clean Equipment: Clean equipment and remove potential road hazards such as debris, rocks, mud, dirt, sand, gravel, plastic, roofing, etc.
  • Inspect Equipment: Inspect equipment to ensure it is in good working condition and make any necessary repairs.
  • Responsible for Equipment Maintenance: Responsible for keeping equipment in safe working order, including performing routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Comfortable with Chains: Comfortable putting chains on tires when needed or required.
Requirements
  • CDL Class A: Must have a valid CDL Class A license.
  • Current Medical Card: Must have a current medical card.
  • Clean Driving Record: Must have a clean driving record and background.
  • Able to Pass a Drug Test: Must be able to pass a drug test.
  • Willingness to Work Overtime: Must be willing to work overtime, including some Saturdays.
