Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Turndown Attendant to join our team at Bishop's Lodge. As a Turndown Attendant, you will be responsible for preparing guest rooms for the evening, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare guest rooms for the evening, including cleaning and tidying up the room, replenishing linens and towels, and refreshing amenities.
  • Ensure that all guest rooms are clean and tidy, and that all amenities are replenished and presented nicely.
  • Remove trash and recyclables from guest rooms and replace with new liners.
  • Report any maintenance issues to the Executive Housekeeper or Supervisor on duty.
  • Perform quality cleaning to meet required standards within set time limits.
  • Ensure that every guest room door is locked before and after entering or leaving the room.
  • Follow safe operating procedures when using cleaning chemicals.
  • Respond to guest and supervisor requests in a courteous and prompt manner.

Requirements

  • One year of housekeeping or turndown experience.
  • Prior experience in a luxury hotel.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Excellent grooming.
  • Confidence and ability to perform under pressure.
