KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process and monitor customer orders within SAP, ensuring precision and thoroughness while communicating order updates to clients and sales teams.
  • Oversee order and backorder statuses, implementing solutions to fulfill customer expectations by collaborating closely with Supply Chain, Demand, Planning & Scheduling, Commercial, and other operational teams.
  • Track and relay the status of production orders to clients.
  • Manage invoicing, debits, credits, returns, and consignment releases, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Ensure satisfaction for accounts critical to the business by delivering exceptional customer service and support.
  • Maintain the accuracy of the Customer Master Information Record, ensuring all information is current.
  • Accurately input and maintain data in SAP and Excel.
  • Take ownership of non-quality customer complaints, coordinating company efforts to address customer needs and resolve issues promptly.
  • Handle escalated customer ordering and delivery matters, collaborating with business teams to find solutions and communicate effectively with customers.
  • Provide training to internal stakeholders as necessary in SAP and customer service-related processes, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill enhancement.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A minimum of a 2-year degree and 5 years of experience in customer service.
  • Proficiency in data entry and information management across various software platforms is essential.
  • Strong keyboarding skills are required, as a significant portion of the role involves data input and retrieval.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) is necessary.
  • Experience with the SAP Sales & Distribution module is preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
  • Excellent verbal communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with customers and business teams, including active listening and providing clear, concise information.
  • Strong written communication skills are critical for documenting customer interactions, composing effective emails, and detailing order specifics.
