Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Practice Specialist to join our team at Ascension Illinois. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for driving quality and safety initiatives, developing caregivers, and implementing evidence-based practice guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with clinical leaders to develop and implement quality and safety initiatives that improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clinical professional development to identify gaps in caregiver skills and competencies, and develop plans to address them.
  • Support clinical leaders in aggregating and interpreting quality and patient safety data to inform practice changes.
  • Guide the implementation of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) projects, including the revision of order sets and practice guidelines.
  • Conduct unit rounds to coach and mentor caregivers on best practices and quality initiatives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Doctor of Nursing Practice or PhD in Nursing degree.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois.
  • BLS Provider certification.
