Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with clinical leaders to serve as a resource and support caregivers in improving outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders and professional development to identify gaps and develop plans to improve professional growth, skills, and competencies.
  • Support clinical leaders in aggregating and interpreting quality/patient safety data to drive improved care outcomes and nursing practice.
  • Guide the implementation of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) projects, including the revision of order sets and practice guidelines at the unit or division level.
  • Analyze research outcomes and devise strategies for their incorporation into evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.
  • Conduct unit rounds with a focus on coaching and mentoring in partnership with clinical leadership.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification required.
  • Registered Nurse licensure from the Illinois Board of Nursing required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
