Overview:


The Patient Care Coordinator is essential in representing the Baptist Health network as the initial point of contact for a diverse range of customers, including healthcare providers, discharge planners, patients, families, and staff.

This role involves gathering preliminary information necessary for processing referrals and managing multiple tasks and competing priorities to ensure a seamless flow of information across various departments within the network.

Utilizing strong analytical skills, the coordinator assesses and addresses challenges to ensure the prompt initiation of homecare services, while also exercising clinical judgment regarding documentation and order acceptance.

Accountability extends to achieving positive outcomes in clinical, financial, regulatory, and customer satisfaction metrics.



Additional Information:


Applicants must possess a current LPN license in the state of Arkansas and demonstrate the ability to make swift and precise clinical evaluations and decisions. A minimum of three years of experience in a medical office or a related environment is preferred. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic work setting, showcases exceptional multitasking abilities, and exemplifies outstanding customer service through a positive attitude, teamwork, and meticulous attention to detail. Independence in completing assigned tasks with minimal supervision is essential.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to make quick and accurate clinical evaluations and decisions while collaborating closely with team members and maintaining a strong focus on detail.



This position is authorized for 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
