Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our financial infrastructure, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, including financial management, budgeting, financial analysis, forecasting, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, and inventory accounting.
  • Approve reconciliations and journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Oversee the accounting team, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the team's success.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify efficiencies, propose improvements, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Implement and maintain the SAP system, ensuring its optimal use for financial management and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in financial management, budgeting, financial analysis, forecasting, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in SAP and other financial management software.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with creating financial statements and financial reporting.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience in managing a team.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to create financial forecasts and models.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
