Marketing Leadership Opportunity at Simon Property Group

The Director of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive sales and enhance the overall shopping experience at Simon Property Group's properties. The successful candidate will work closely with retailers, manage budgets, oversee advertising programs, and drive engagement on social media channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute annual marketing plans to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience
  • Implement business development revenue opportunities to increase revenue growth
  • Drive retailer intensification strategies to increase retailer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Promote platform programs to key retail partners to increase engagement and sales
  • Manage data input and use Salesforce to track key performance indicators
  • Coordinate shopping center visual merchandising to enhance the overall shopping experience
  • Enhance the overall perception of Simon Property Group's properties through public relations efforts
  • Grow and engage social media channels to increase brand awareness and drive sales
  • Develop professional relationships with retailers to increase satisfaction and loyalty
  • Oversee Simon loyalty programs to increase customer retention and loyalty
  • Manage Guest Services operations to ensure exceptional customer service
  • Drive Simon Gift Card programs to increase sales and revenue growth
  • Oversee financial forecasting for the marketing department to ensure accurate budgeting and planning
  • Lead and oversee the Marketing Administrative Assistant to ensure efficient and effective marketing operations

Qualifications and Characteristics:

  • BA or BS degree in sales, marketing, or business
  • 4-6 years of experience in strategic marketing
  • Knowledge of retail management and advertising principles
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with retailers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work varied schedules and travel overnight as needed
  • Strong team building and coaching skills to lead and develop the marketing team
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
