Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalizing projects within the scheduled timeframe and budget.
  • Act as a liaison between the field and office teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and support project management techniques, schedule goals, procurement, and contractual requirements.
  • Evaluate and improve systems and processes to meet customer requirements and profitability goals.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop colleagues to ensure high-quality engineering and project delivery.
  • Provide close support and oversight for third-party construction firms and subcontractors.
  • Ensure schedule requirements are met, and priorities are adjusted based on changing customer needs and resource availability.
  • Interact with customers to validate expectations and ensure they are met before, during, and after project completion.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of project engineer experience in heavy commercial/private electrical construction.
  • Strong understanding of engineering in electric power and field experience coordinating with construction management.
  • Extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and assist in winning projects.
  • Exceptional initiative, execution, and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Electrical Engineering or Construction Management degrees are strongly preferred.
What We Offer:

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $85,000 and $95,000, depending on various factors such as location, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The role may also be eligible for a vehicle allowance plan, bonus, and benefits.
