The Pega Lead Business Architect will spearhead multiple teams comprising developers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to transform business requirements, process flows, use cases, and integration documents into a fully operational application that fulfills user expectations.

Detailed Description:

Certification: PEGA Certified Business Architect

Education: 4-Year College Degree or Equivalent Technical Study

Certification Requirement: Must possess a PEGA Business Architect certification.

Role Summary:

The Pega Lead Business Architect will serve as a bridge between business users, stakeholders, and technology teams. This role entails collaborating with the Lead System Architect and the Leadership team to jointly define business and technical strategies.

This position offers the chance to utilize a diverse skill set while engaging in software development and systems integration projects for a broad range of users and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in requirements gathering, tracking, and analysis, with the ability to effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate user needs and develop technological solutions to address those needs.
  • Act as the liaison between Business and Technology teams, translating requirements between technical and non-technical members.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Product Owners and Stakeholders to gather user stories and convert them into business requirements.
  • Exhibit creativity and initiative in problem-solving.
  • Understand the business vision and translate it into technological impacts and solutions.
  • Work with technology teams to devise solutions that meet business needs.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
  • Perform various roles as necessary throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Document requirements, functional designs, and lead test execution.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to comprehend business challenges that need resolution.
  • Capture functional software requirements and convert them into user stories.
  • Coordinate with Product Managers and stakeholders for backlog reviews.
  • Participate in Agile software development sprints and planning activities.
  • Lead Agile teams and processes as required.
  • Define solution acceptance criteria and assist in software testing.
  • Publish software release notes and maintain product documentation.
  • Develop and sustain training materials for solutions.
  • Mentor Business Analysts and other software development team members.
  • Integrate best practices into existing workflows.
  • Facilitate client workshops regarding software products and processes.
  • Provide support to customer success teams.
  • Create wireframe designs for functional requirements.
  • Conduct process and product training as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • IT technical background is a plus.
