Job Overview:
The PEGA Solutions Architect should possess the following qualifications and skills:
  • A valid PEGA certification as a System Architect with a minimum of 3 years of practical experience.
  • Proficiency in utilizing PEGA Cloud.
  • Experience in developing data classes and properties during PEGA implementations.
  • Familiarity with Designer Studio for refining and enhancing case lifecycle designs.
  • Comprehensive experience in PEGA's rules-based architecture for configuring and testing application functionalities, including process flows, user interfaces, automated decisions, and properties.
  • Background in Scrum development methodologies.
  • Experience in database integration using stored procedures.
  • Competence in executing database queries.
  • Familiarity with Database Integration using SQL Server, DB2, and Sybase.
  • Experience with Process Commander Automated unit testing.
  • Knowledge of PEGA Agile Studio.
  • Exposure to full life-cycle experience in large systems, ideally within the government sector, with an understanding of governmental business processes and operations.
  • Strong documentation skills for requirements, functional design, and test execution.
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into process flows, design enterprise-level architecture, and proficiency in project management tools.
  • Experience in data modeling, relational database concepts, case configuration and processing, business and functional development, and translating business requirements into system/functional specifications.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • A 4-year college degree or equivalent technical education is required.
  • A total of 9+ years of overall technical analysis and IT experience is preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assess user needs and requirements.
  • Develop and implement PEGA technological solutions to address these needs.
  • Conduct unit testing of their work and the team's work using PEGAUnit rule testing.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and/or users during system testing of their programs.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Familiarity with PEGA cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with PEGA version 8.1.
  • Strong background in requirements gathering, tracking, and analysis, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of PEGA Rules Process Commander: PRPC 6.x and above, PEGA Smart BPM, and PEGA Direct Capture of Objectives (DCO).
  • Understanding of application design and development principles.
