Job Overview

Giles Insurance Services is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal insurance accounts, including auto, home, and umbrella policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of personal insurance accounts, including auto, home, and umbrella policies.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, key vendors, and carriers.
  • Work closely with clients to assess their needs and provide guidance.
  • Respond to clients, insurance carriers, sales team, and supervisors' correspondences and requests in a timely and effective manner.
  • Research and present answers to client questions about their policies and coverage.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on carrier products, guidelines, underwriting, and legislative changes to make effective recommendations to clients.
  • Analyze and compare current exposures at renewal.
  • Process and submit new and renewal clients for marketing and placement, review and summarize quotes for competitiveness and accuracy.
  • Process and check policies, endorsements, endorsement requests, and audits for accuracy.
  • Prepare and manage timetables, summaries, and schedules for the entire book of business with regard to coverage and renewal dates.
