Job Summary

Shasta Community Health Center is seeking a skilled Healthcare Provider to join our team. As a Medical Services Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with a range of medical conditions, including performing physical exams and ordering diagnostic tests.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with our supervising physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in medical staff meetings and other committees to stay up-to-date on best practices and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Completed a nationally accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.
  • California license to practice medicine and current certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, Inc., or the American Nurses' Association.
  • CPR certification and ability to maintain current without any limitations on license to practice.
