Job Title: Guest Services Representative

Charlestowne Hotels is seeking a highly skilled Guest Services Representative to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register and check-out guests in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries in a timely and knowledgeable manner
  • Complete all tasks on the daily checklist, including reviewing arrivals, blocking rooms, and issuing guest safety deposit boxes
  • Conduct pre-assignment of hotel rooms, including VIPs, repeat guests, and special requests
  • Follow established key control policy and ensure proper credit policies are followed
  • Assist with Concierge services and provide knowledge of local attractions and events
  • Monitor room availability and review daily selling status using yield management system
  • Attend department meetings and perform other duties as directed by immediate supervisor
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; six months to one year of related experience and/or training preferred
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with moderate noise levels. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide exceptional guest service in a professional and friendly manner.
