Key Responsibilities

- Foster a culture of client satisfaction and loyalty.

- Stay informed on the latest techniques and technologies to effectively complete painting tasks.

- Adhere to all relevant company policies and legal standards governing vehicle repairs.

- Assess the scope of work detailed in repair orders; communicate with estimators regarding unnecessary tasks or additional materials required.

- Strategically plan work processes utilizing technical manuals and expertise in surface preparation and painting methods; ensure timely procurement of paint and materials.

- Execute high-quality paint applications within designated timeframes and material specifications, using the appropriate tools efficiently.

- Employ protective equipment to maintain vehicle cleanliness during the painting process.

- Utilize lifting and moving equipment to handle materials and access work areas safely.

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying necessary chemical treatments.

- Mask and shield areas not intended for painting; detach components such as chrome, mirrors, and windshield wipers as needed.

- Mix and adjust paint or coatings to achieve the desired color and consistency based on established formulas or color charts.

- Apply specified layers of primer, protective, decorative, or finishing coatings, including paint, lacquer, sealers, or enamels, to prepared surfaces.

Qualifications

- Relevant education or experience in paint repair.

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Knowledge of and adherence to safety regulations and workplace procedures.

- Positive attitude and energetic demeanor.

- Ability to read and understand instructions.

- Strong judgment and critical thinking skills.

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
