Job Overview

Atlantic Emergency Solutions is in search of a dedicated and skilled Automotive Collision Repair Specialist to join our team. This full-time position focuses on providing high-quality repair services in our state-of-the-art Collision Center.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties of the Collision Repair Specialist include:

  • Executing minor to extensive collision repairs.
  • Performing cab and chassis reconstruction.
  • Conducting body fabrication in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company protocols.
  • Removing damaged components such as fenders, panels, and grills using appropriate tools.
  • Preparing surfaces through filing, grinding, and sanding with both power and hand tools.
  • Aiming headlights and aligning body panels to ensure proper functionality.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of three to five years of relevant experience in collision repair.
  • The capability to transport parts and materials weighing at least 30lbs independently.
  • Expertise in aluminum welding, panel replacement, and structural welding.
  • Experience with paint and refinishing, upholstery removal, and electrical wiring is advantageous.
  • A personal toolbox equipped with necessary hand and air tools.

Additional skills that would be beneficial include:

  • Experience in heavy-truck body work, particularly with fire and emergency vehicles.
  • A keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality results.
  • Knowledge of corrosion repairs, fiberglass work, basic computer skills, and familiarity with CDK (formerly ADP).
Additional Information

Pre-employment drug screening and a satisfactory driving record are required for this position.
