Position Location: Subaru Inc. Service Center

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience, up to $125,000 annually

Work Schedule: Full-Time, No Sundays

Position Summary:

The Automotive Technician will operate at a skilled level, responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles across various systems, while also having specialized expertise in specific repair areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute repairs as specified on the work order with precision and efficiency, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • Identify the root cause of malfunctions and carry out necessary repairs.
  • Coordinate with the parts department to procure required components.
  • Preserve and label parts from the job if they are under warranty or requested by the customer.
  • Inspect assigned vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is necessary.
  • Communicate promptly with the service advisor regarding any additional work needed, unnecessary work, or delays in repairs.
  • Document all performed and recommended work on the repair order.
  • Conduct road tests on vehicles when necessary or refer to the designated test technician.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.
