We are seeking a highly skilled Test Technician to join our team at a leading manufacturing facility in Franklin, Massachusetts. As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for conducting visual inspections, assessing the quality of completed panel assemblies, and performing point-to-point wiring validation. You will also be required to power up systems, upload PLC programs, and execute system tests to verify proper device and system functionality.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with panel designers and system engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems
- Conduct thorough visual inspections to identify any defects or issues with panel assemblies
- Assess the quality of completed panel assemblies and perform point-to-point wiring validation
- Power up systems and execute system tests to verify proper device and system functionality
- Upload PLC programs and connect field devices such as motors, sensors, and switches
- Document the finished panel with photos and annotate engineering drawings to reflect as-built conditions
- Record test results and update test procedures as needed
- Provide manufacturing support as needed and have a fundamental understanding of electrical theory and the functionality of electrical components
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical testing in a manufacturing environment
- High School degree or equivalent required; AS Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience preferred
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PDF creation, digital camera use, and cloud-based file storage
