Job Summary:

S&C Electric Company is seeking a skilled Electrical Test Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing IntelliRupter products, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test IntelliRupter products based on documentation, including bills of material, blueprints, and change notices.
  • Complete testing at timing stations and run switch through 4 operations stations.
  • Perform mechanical work, including disconnect assemblies.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform tests, including timing test, partial discharge test, dielectric test, calibration test, and low voltage test.

Requirements:

  • High voltage electrical experience required.
  • Ability to work from complex blueprints, wiring drawings, schematic diagrams, and specifications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in troubleshooting mechanical or electrical issues.
  • Experience using and operating machining tools, hand-held tools, wiring equipment, wrenches, torque tools, and other tools.
