Assembly Technician

QPS Employment Group is seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for performing assembly operations involving electrical or mechanical operations on complex assemblies or sub-assemblies for packaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform assembly operations with high precision and attention to detail

- Work from extensive specifications and diagrams to ensure accurate assembly

- Plan and lay out work to meet production deadlines

- Use a variety of tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and testing devices

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- At least two years of related job experience

- Working knowledge of precision assembly techniques and basic mechanical principles

- Ability to read assembly drawings and use measuring equipment

- Working knowledge of metric system required and basic computer skills
