The Senior IT Support Specialist is tasked with delivering Tier 1 (initial) and Tier II (advanced) technical assistance. This role encompasses daily on-site technical support, project management, and involvement in system rollouts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Investigate, procure, and set up hardware for new personnel.
- Oversee Azure and InTune environments.
- Address and resolve daily IT service requests.
- Define specifications and best practices for network and server infrastructure.
- Administer VPN clients and access protocols.
- Engage in the Continuous Improvement Process to enhance service delivery, IT systems, documentation, and operational procedures.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on IT systems and networks, monitoring performance and accuracy.
- Identify and implement efficiencies across the organization.
- Execute complex root-cause analysis to troubleshoot issues.
- Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the IT sector.
- Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft applications.
- Skilled in diagnosing intricate computer issues.
- Experience with project management and development lifecycle tools such as Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, etc.
- Knowledge of asset management practices.
- Strong collaborative, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%, both domestically and internationally.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
