Job Title: Controls Engineer - Siemens PLC Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to support a customer who is currently upgrading their Siemens PLC's. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working with the customer to understand their gaps and help them upgrade the Siemens programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the customer to update Siemens programs from TI505/CTI2500 to Siemens 1500 and run simulations
  • Develop strong communication skills to interact with the customer and provide effective solutions
  • Work within TIA portal to ensure seamless integration
  • Utilize expertise in servo drives and VFD's to drive automation improvements
  • Identify gaps in automation deployment and work with the end customer's Plant Systems team to implement improvements in PLC programs to drive results; report results up the chain of command
Requirements:
  • Associate Level Degree in Electrical Engineering Discipline (Bachelor preferred) 7+ years of experience working with Siemens PLC's
  • Experience working with TIAPortal as well as servo drives and VFD's
