POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Level One IT Helpdesk Technician to provide exceptional technical support, particularly with Office 365 applications. This role is crucial in ensuring that our users receive timely assistance while contributing to a supportive and safe workplace culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver first-tier technical assistance to users through various communication channels.
- Diagnose and rectify hardware and software challenges associated with Office 365.
- Support the configuration and upkeep of Office 365 accounts and user workstations.
- Work collaboratively with the IT department to escalate and resolve intricate issues efficiently.
- Manage user accounts and permissions effectively.
- Track and respond to IT helpdesk requests, ensuring prompt resolution and thorough documentation.
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of technical guides and knowledge base entries.
- Engage in IT initiatives, including system upgrades and migrations.
- Stay informed about the latest industry developments and technologies.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in an IT helpdesk role.
- Strong skills in troubleshooting Office 365-related problems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- Understanding of Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a customer-centric approach.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Detail-oriented with robust problem-solving capabilities.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or equivalent are advantageous.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Office setting with potential for remote work.
- Hybrid work model with a combination of on-site and remote responsibilities.
