Job Title: Senior Medical Science Liaison

Join EVERSANA as a Senior Medical Science Liaison and play a pivotal role in fostering scientific partnerships within the relevant scientific communities. As a key member of our Field-Based Medicine team, you will engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare practitioners (HCPs) at local, regional, and national levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Function as the primary point of contact in the field with reporting responsibilities to the Senior Director, Medical Excellence and Field-Based Medicine.
  • Serve as a preceptor to other Medical Science Liaisons.
  • Support internal medical affairs initiatives as appropriate.
  • Be solidly versed in the clinical data to appreciate the full range of innovative science, clinical, outcome, economic, and value aspects of our products.
  • Conduct pre-launch KOL profiling efforts to enhance depth of product/disease/scientific knowledge.
  • Develop and track key opinion leader (KOL) engagement plans to identify, develop, and maintain long-term collaborative relationships with KOLs within assigned regions.
  • Develop a strong understanding of territory-specific healthcare systems and clinical practices related to patient care, disease management, treatment protocols, and research interests.
  • Proactively conduct scientific exchange with KOLs to support strategic objectives and document scientific insights within appropriate systems, communicating insights to internal stakeholders as required.
  • Function as a scientific resource to KOLs and HCPs to reactively answer specific questions on disease state topics and company compounds through scientific exchange.
  • Collaborate across all functions in a seamless, efficient, and compliant manner to provide field-based scientific expertise for key accounts, as required.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of clinical data and ability to appreciate the full range of innovative science, clinical, outcome, economic, and value aspects of our products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with KOLs and HCPs at local, regional, and national levels.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and perform all activities in a compliant manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and learn about new and evolving customers and the changing medical needs of such customers.
