Cardiovascular Critical Care Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Critical Care Unit (CCCU) team at Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and prioritize patient care needs, developing individualized plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and report patient status, identifying and addressing any changes or concerns in a timely manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
- 2-5 years of experience in critical care nursing, with a focus on cardiovascular critical care.
- BSN degree preferred.
- Current BCLS and ACLS certifications.
- CCRN certification preferred.
