Critical Care Nurse

Covenant Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Covenant Children's Hospital. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill children, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage life-sustaining therapies, such as mechanical ventilation and vasopressors.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as arterial blood gases and cardiac rhythms.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Current RN licensure in Texas or New Mexico.
- 1+ year of experience in pediatric critical care or a related field.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
