Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our Cardiovascular Critical Care Unit.
Responsibilities:- Assess and manage the physical, biophysical, and health education needs of adolescent, adult, and geriatric acute care patients.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing plans of care, including measurable short and long-term goals.
- Provide patient and family education on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Currently licensed in the state of Texas.
- BCLS and ACLS certification required.
- 2-5 years' experience in critical care setting.
- Minimum of 1 year of cardiovascular critical care nursing experience.
- CCRN certification preferred.
