Critical Care Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our Cardiovascular Critical Care Unit.
Responsibilities:- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure in the state of Texas.
- 2-5 years of experience in critical care nursing, with a minimum of 1 year in cardiovascular critical care.
- BCLS and ACLS certification required.
- CCRN certification preferred.
