Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Vice President of Sustainability to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing comprehensive sustainability strategies that drive business growth and environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a sustainability strategy aligned with the company's vision and principles, ensuring that sustainability is integrated into all aspects of the business.
  • Lead and develop a team of sustainability professionals, providing guidance and support to help them succeed in their roles.
  • Manage sustainability projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure buy-in and support for sustainability initiatives.
  • Build relationships with external partners, including government agencies, NGOs, and industry associations, to leverage resources and expertise in support of sustainability goals.
  • Monitor and report on progress against sustainability goals, providing regular updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in sustainability or related field, with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing sustainability initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of current sustainability trends and best practices, with the ability to anticipate and respond to future challenges and opportunities.
