Key Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Director of Project Execution.
  • Set and achieve project management objectives:
    • Maintain or enhance the project budget as originally proposed.
    • Adhere to or improve the project timeline.
    • Exceed customer satisfaction and expectations.
    • Prepare and deliver necessary documentation and reports on schedule.
    • Identify and mitigate project risks effectively.
    • Explore opportunities to increase project revenues and gross profits.
  • Manage project tasks:
    • Interpret and comply with contractual obligations to ensure consistent delivery.
    • Proactively identify project risks and implement countermeasures.
    • Maintain customer relationships through effective communication and meetings.
    • Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and procurement processes.
    • Lead the project team, ensuring timely and consistent deliverables.
    • Organize the project team, setting priorities and managing conflicts.
    • Facilitate communication and coordination within the project team.
    • Adhere to the reporting plan, providing accurate data in a timely manner.
    • Regularly update the project schedule.
    • Assist the sales team with contract negotiations and timelines.
    • Understand and communicate relevant local regulations to the project team.
    • Ensure compliance with the Quality Assurance/Quality Control plan.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Technical diploma or degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Significant experience as a Project Manager in the industrial sector.

Required Competencies:

  • In-depth understanding of contract management for complex industrial projects.
  • Proficient in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Skilled in customer relationship management.
  • Experienced in leading and coordinating project resources.
  • Knowledgeable in project administration and procurement processes.
  • Adept at creating and managing detailed project schedules.
  • Cross-functional expertise in relevant technical areas.
  • Strong background in Waste, Wastewater, Biogas, and Power Generation sectors.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
