Your Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support to Flooring Project Managers by assisting with tasks such as change events, change orders, RFIs, submittals, material tracking, closeout documents, and more.
  • Master Cherry Coatings' standard operating procedures and apply them effectively to your work.
  • Gain valuable experience in leading the project team under the guidance of the Project Manager, serving as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters.
  • Develop proficiency in updating, projecting, and managing project financials on a monthly basis.
  • Collaborate with the Flooring PM to prepare comprehensive monthly project process reports, including cost reports updates, PCOs, COs, RFIs, submittals, safety, and schedule reports for executive team leaders.
  • Assist in estimating change orders and gain a thorough understanding of the entire process as outlined in the owner contract.
  • Learn the fundamentals of subcontracts and owner contracts by shadowing the PM while navigating payments, changes, claims, and other contractual aspects.
  • Contribute to formal project presentations as a member of the dedicated team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, Box, DocuSign, Textura, Bluebeam, and a willingness to learn AIA contracts.
  • Enthusiasm for construction and the application of new technologies, concepts, and innovative solutions.
