Role Summary:

The Renovation Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the lifecycle of renovation and turnaround projects. This position is responsible for maintaining effective communication among all stakeholders, ensuring meticulous documentation of project records, and adhering to established timelines. The Coordinator acts as the subject matter expert for each assigned project, managing all facets of the renovation process. This role is vital in streamlining construction timelines and facilitating smooth transitions from acquisition to renovation and leasing. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and a background in construction or project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor acquisition reports and maintain active communication with acquisition teams regarding incoming properties.
  • Coordinate scheduling and dispatching of inspection partners.
  • Create and manage renovation projects within the project management software.
  • Prepare and issue necessary legal documentation.
  • Ensure all required information for effective project management is collected and documented.
  • Assign renovation tasks to contractors based on project scope.
  • Understand renovation standards to align project assignments with company objectives.
  • Regularly follow up with contractors to ensure adherence to budget and timelines.
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement best practices across projects.
  • Review and confirm completion of project scope items and inspections.
  • Proactively manage project next steps and maintain frequent communication with stakeholders.
  • Assist in coordinating efforts among various project stakeholders as needed.
  • Conduct quality checks on project records upon completion.
  • Support leadership in identifying and communicating areas for improvement.
  • Perform various administrative tasks related to project management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma (or GED); college degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role involving project coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively and within budget.
  • Experience with project management or CRM software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Technologically adept with the ability to learn new systems.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to achieving excellence.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with standards and procedures in project management.
  • Experience in real estate or construction preferred.

Authorization to work in the U.S. is a prerequisite for employment.

Compensation:

$56,000 - $66,000 annually, with adjustments based on experience and location.
