Monday-Friday (Shifts may vary 10:30am-7pm or 8:30am-5pm), occasional weekends required.
As a Healthcare Support Specialist at Tia, you will engage in essential administrative and clinical duties to ensure the clinic operates efficiently.
Your primary responsibilities will encompass patient onboarding, gathering health information, communicating with patients, maintaining room readiness throughout the day, managing inventory supplies, collecting and preparing samples, and occasionally overseeing front office tasks such as scheduling and billing.
You will also receive training as a Front Desk Associate.Phlebotomy duties include:
Reviewing health summaries with patients to confirm accuracy
Collaborating with fellow healthcare staff and providers to ensure smooth clinic operations
Alerting providers of any delays or clinic congestion
Preparing for the next day's schedule by reviewing patient records and briefing providers
Documenting patient nuances and personal needs to enhance care delivery
Performing phlebotomy as required
Adhering to clinical guidelines for phlebotomy
Following established lab review protocols
Ensuring cleanliness and organization within the clinic.

Tia requires that Healthcare Support Specialists complete credentialing with designated payors and authorize Tia to facilitate this process through our preferred vendors.
