Pediatric Endocrinology Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a PRN Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our team at Virginia Jobs. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical care to patients in a busy outpatient and inpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching: The faculty member will have teaching responsibilities in the area of Pediatric Endocrinology, providing guidance and mentorship to Residents, Chief Residents, and Fellows when applicable.
- Research: The faculty member will have required research responsibilities.
- Clinical: The faculty member will serve as a Pediatric Endocrinologist for the Departments of Pediatrics.
Requirements:
- Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology
- Experience with clinical care of patients
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an academic medical center
About the Division: The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism at Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU is a comprehensive program for children with diabetes and other endocrine disorders.
