Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our team at Hilton Woodland Hills/Los Angeles. As a key member of our Front Desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and register guests efficiently, providing accurate information and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Check departing guests out of the hotel, ensuring a seamless and timely process.
  • Answer guest questions accurately and resolve problems in a timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Sell guest rooms, food and beverage outlets, and seasonal hotel promotions to maximize revenue.
  • Review the Front Desk log and record pertinent information as needed throughout the shift.
  • Post charges to individual rooms or master accounts, and complete tasks on the daily checklist.
  • Communicate with other hotel departments to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Adhere to guest safe deposit box procedures and policies regarding handling of employee's cash bank.
  • Reconcile all charges and cash received during the shift and prepare a drop, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • High school graduate, with some college preferred.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience, with previous front desk agent experience preferred.
  • RBS Certification required, accessible online.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and write instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to communicate verbally, including telephone contact, with guests, management, and co-workers.
Working Conditions

The Guest Service Agent will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, with moderate to moderately high noise conditions. The role requires frequent standing, walking, and reaching, with occasional lifting and carrying of up to 25 pounds.
