Job Title: Guest Service Agent

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Agent to join our team at Hilton Woodland Hills/Los Angeles. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and register guests in a timely and efficient manner, providing information and assistance as needed.
  • Check departing guests out of the hotel, ensuring a seamless and smooth process.
  • Answer guest questions and resolve problems in a timely and professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Sell guest rooms, food and beverage outlets, and seasonal hotel promotions to increase revenue and enhance the guest experience.
  • Review the front desk log and record pertinent information as needed throughout the shift.
  • Post charges to individual rooms or master accounts, and complete tasks on the daily checklist.
  • Communicate with other hotel departments to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Adhere to guest safe deposit box procedures and policies regarding handling of employee cash banks.
  • Reconcile all charges and cash received during the shift and prepare a drop, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent, with some college preferred.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience, with previous front desk agent experience preferred.
  • RBS Certification required, accessible online.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and write instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with guests, management, and co-workers.
  • Previous OnQ experience preferred.
Working Conditions:

The Guest Service Agent will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, with moderate to moderately high noise conditions. The role requires frequent standing, walking, and reaching, with occasional lifting and carrying of up to 25 pounds. The ability to work in a team environment and provide exceptional service to guests is essential.
