Position Summary

We are seeking a Vice President of Regional Sales to lead a dynamic sales team comprising Sales Directors and Business Development Managers. This pivotal role will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Sales and will be instrumental in shaping our sales strategy and team management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Regional Directors and Business Development Managers in alignment with our core values.
  • Collaborate with our partner ecosystem to drive growth and enhance our go-to-market strategies.
  • Address business development challenges by creating and implementing effective internal processes.
  • Identify and secure essential resources to ensure regional success.
  • Set and achieve quarterly and annual goals in collaboration with the team.
  • Provide accurate forecasts of opportunities, pipelines, and revenue on a regular basis.
  • Understand the integration of this role within the broader organization and leverage relationships to facilitate success.
  • Ensure optimal resource utilization and collaborate with various departments, including marketing and sales support.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of market trends and competitive insights to inform sales strategies.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with the supplier community.

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Sales and engages with external sales partners and suppliers, as well as internal teams such as Solutions Engineering, Marketing, and Human Resources.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in channel sales within telecom, cloud, or emerging technologies.
  • Proven experience in managing a sales team.
  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a virtual environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in data analysis and decision-making based on reports.
  • Candidate should be based in the Western region.

Travel Requirements

Willingness to travel as needed, approximately 15% of the time.

Physical Requirements

Ability to work at a computer for extended periods and lift up to 10 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $168,000, with total compensation ranging from $250,000 to $280,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan with matching contributions. Employees also enjoy paid time off and company holidays.
