- Conduct reviews of existing contracts to identify opportunities for savings.
- Collaborate with fellow procurement managers to share insights and best practices.

Required Skills/Experience:
- Strong time management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Experienced procurement professional with knowledge of strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier management techniques.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and budgeting.
- Proficient in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and their application in procurement.
- Able to negotiate contract terms directly with suppliers.
- Experience in leading cross-functional project teams.
- Ability to negotiate and manage agreements focused on long-term planning and achieving optimal quality and savings.
- Stay informed on market trends and best practices to enhance procurement operations.

Desired Qualifications:
Membership in a recognized professional institute such as the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or the Institute of Supply Management (CPSM or CPM) is preferred.
