Senior Oracle Database Administrator at Peraton

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to ensure the efficient operation of a robust, global communications network
- Spearhead and guide design and upgrade initiatives for Oracle Database environments in a large-scale enterprise IT program
- Oversee the optimization of database performance
- Support database migrations and consolidations
- Supervise database replication activities
- Develop and maintain Service Design Packages and SOPs for Oracle database systems
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and optimize performance of Oracle Databases
- Configure environments for Oracle database testing and assurance tasks

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years with a Bachelor's degree; Minimum of 6 years with a Master's degree; Minimum of 3 years with a Doctoral degree
  • Minimum of 10+ years of Database Administration experience
  • Minimum of 8+ years in database design, including capacity planning, migration, performance monitoring, security, and troubleshooting
  • General knowledge in virtualization, networking, and project management
  • Oracle DB certification; Version 12 or above
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
